Phone Scam

Congaree State Bank has received notice that clients are receiving automated phone calls that their MasterCard debit card has been deactivated or locked.  The message then directs clients to "press 1" to unlock the card.  This is a phishing scam and should be ignored.  The phone call is asking for cardholders 16-digit card number, expiration dates, security code, and PIN number.

Congaree State Bank will never call clients to ask for account or personal information over the phone.  Please do not disclose any account/personal details.
